The rich digital colors I’ve mixed and painted are modeled after the factory colors available in the years depicted. My design strategy is to draw accurate details, create reflections and shadows in the paint, chrome and glass finishes that will exceed what normally a camera will capture. The artistic backgrounds are often simplified bringing viewer focus to the automobiles.

Warm or snow, driving 4x4s, tandem axles or riding a dirt bike in the mud was always fun to me as a younger person. This pair of Beefy Off-Roading Jeeps is my original composition of good clean fun of diggin’ in. These dirty Jeeps were originally shot in different locations however, I’ve decided to draw this pair climbing through the mud and rocks. Almost as fun as being there! 

High energy and mud is painted in stop-action details on this original drawing offered now in 11×17” or 18×24” formats.
